So it has been a great year so far and I know I have been telling everyone I could that we need to help young people and that what we have been able to do at InPower has worked. That might sound like a self-absorbed comment but the truth is the truth, we at InPower have put a lot into developing a service that will really impact young people and a lasting change. Our two programmes in schools have done this and we have tracked key metrics in order to show this

This has lead to a lot more conversations and opportunities for us as a company and also recognition. Yes, that has been a long-winded way of saying we have been nominated for another award which is awarded by the Small Awards. The award we are up for is Mission Possible which is a spin on social enterprises doing their part in a mission that is hard, yes but that does not mean it is not possible

It is incredible that we are receiving such recognition for the company but I have always had tremendous support from all the participants of our programmes, and the volunteers and employees of InPower and last but not at all least, the community. The support over the last 6 years of doing this has helped me keep going and allowed this Mission to be possible

2 award nominations in 6 months are more than the company has received in 6 years I am deeply grateful but just know everyone, with or without the award the work will also go on

We have our award show on May 9th in London so we will keep you updated on progress regarding that and then towards the end of May we have the FSB Awards :D… Exciting month indeed
