Top 10 tips to staying healthy during the lockdown
- Daily walks in local area covering a minimum distance of a mile depending on physical ability.
- Daily jog alone or with another member from your household.
- Core exercises consisting of press-ups, sit-ups, plank with minimum of 10 reps on each exercise.
- Daily vitamin D intake preferably via natural sunlight or suitable supplements. Multivitamins, omega 3 capsules, cod liver oil.
- Balanced/ varied diet low in fats and sugars and high vitamins, minerals and nutrients.
- Try to get a decent amount of sleep overnight consisting of approximately 7-9 hours each night.
- Having a daily routine/schedule.
- Have a plan of what you’d like to accomplish during each day.
- Keep regularly hydrated throughout the day.
- Be open to find new ways to keep yourself continually mentally stimulated.
